Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs in order to make ends meet. Lennox was able to make a change in her path in life after she became dissatisfied by her lack of skill in contrast to others Royal Academy students. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. She quit the band shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. She was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox started working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva which was released in the year 1992. The album was a massive hit with regard to the sales as well as the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul tracks. In addition in May 2019 Lennox released Lepidoptera an album comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. Her first album"Now I'm Letting You go... is the soundtrack to her exhibit of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. The group went on during the 80s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 through the album Diva. It featured many well-known songs, including Walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa her 1995 studio album has cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums and her compilation album contain a variety of songs.
